The photos in this gallery were taken by Ann Gillespie and Katie West from mid-October to mid-November. They display the full spectrum of fall colours, as leaves turned from green to bright red, bright yellow and amber, depending on the species. The photos show the time lapse in the turning and falling of leaves for different species. The mid-October view of Sanctuary Park on the Home page shows that the beech trees had by then lost virtually all their leaves while the maples were just beginning to turn colour.
